One of the things I am proud of about the American Military is that we have always tried to distinquish ourselves in honor. When our enemy has been defeated and no longer has the means to resist we don't kill them. We employ the 5 "S"s with prisoners of war. Speed, Silence, Secure, Segregate, and Safeguard. The same can't be said of most of our opponents throughout history.
