Thanks Bob for bringing this up. And thanks Rick for the instructions. I do remember doing this in the Abandon ship training at Norfolk Armed Guard School and it had to be done as instructed.
Also in boot camp at Sampson, N.Y. we had Abandon
Ship training. I can not remember the details of it. And we also had training on boarding different types of water crafts and how to rescue. Hope all of you had a nice Easter. I spent my Easter with my kids and grandkids in the
San Francisco area. Glad to get back home in Red Bluff which is 200 miles north of S. F.
