Melinda and John I'm glad and encourage that you
are both on here and seeking information on your
fathers. The info on getting your fathers records, officers reports which includes battles,
voyage and etc. medals earned and getting these
medals is all available to you as son and daughter with a priority that will be required for idenity. Its all here on the web site and if
you explore this web site you will find it spelled out. If not then the regulars on here
will point the directions. Maybe you have all of
this? But as noted many times in here the Armed Guard was a forgotten unit. And I for one in the last sereral years received many medals that
I had no idea or listed on my discharge that I had earned. Good luck and stay on here. Al
