I am looking for info about my dad service. Was in the service from Feb. 1943 to 1946, He can remember the name of one ship the U.S.S Alston r Allston. I am 50 years old and this week found out that I lived with a hero who always says IT WAS NO BIG DEAL JOUST DOING WHAT HE HAD TO DO.
