I joined the navy April of 42 With a buddy of mine, He went to the fleet I went to the armed guard. We never saw each other again, I found out where he lives now and called him, After a hour of finding out what we had done in the years since we last saw each other ,we talked about our service in the Navy I told him about the three ships I served on in the Armed Guard. He said armed guard what was that ? I really never realized how unknown we were. Bob Higgins
