The latest word from Anniston, which arrived here after sundown today (Saturday, 10/6), tells us that Tom is not only holding on but well enough to watch South East Conference football for much of the day (no word on whether he roots for Alabama or Auburn). He also watches a movie, the same one, over and over again, because he tends to nod off and what he misses he catches later. Oh, and he's grateful for all messages of encouragement.
