Thank you Melinda for your response and I, too, am grateful for people like your father and mine. My father also was a gunner in the AG. These were very brave men and many do not know of the sacrifice that they gave during this time. I was lucky enough to get a picture of the SS William Tyler Page from the M.M. archives. I gave this to my dad before he died and he treasured it greatly. I hope you find information about your father. I will keep my eyes open for information about his ships as I continue my search.
