Ron, I know I'm pretty darn emotional about all this, but I can't thank you enough for posting the links to the photos. I cried like a baby. My dad always said that his knees were up around his ears when he was in the gunner's seat because he was so tall. I could see him sitting there in your photos. Your father and the other veterans look like angels to me. Bless their hearts. We can never repay them for what they did for us. The engine room looks exactly like my dad described. And it looked as hot as he described.
What a wonderful, moving experience that must have been. And what a wonderful tribute to the men AND women of WWII. Please let us know when you post more pictures and videos.
