My father, Lt. John Pierce, was in the Armed Guard at the beginning of the war, and served in the Atlantic on ships called -- forgive the spelling -- the Hoban, the Wilmer and the Marivee. Anyone with any info regarding these ships or my father should feel free to get in touch.
I have his logs for 1942-43, for what they may be worth.
