Yes if there is air in the system it will overheat.

: I can't figure out why this car is
: overheating?
: And after I tell you what I've done you will
: call me a fool, but I am trying to isolate
: the problem.
:
: Front fans didn't work, so I hard wired
: them.
: Thermostat- took it out that wasn't the
: problem.
: It is still out
: water pump - it is pushing coolant (not
: enough maybe) (Did not
: replace)
: blockage around the blower near the
: firewall-
: I bypassed this part of the
: cooling
: sytem thinking that there might be
: a
: blockage
:
: It overheated before I started screwing with
: everything, and it has troughout my trial
: process. The car has been sufering from an
: overall neglect as it has not been driven in
: over a year.
:
: The oil is good, and I do not loose coolant,
: so I assume the head gasket is in good
: shape.
:
: I If the sytem was bleed wrong, and there
: are air bubbles in the system, could this be
: the cause?
: I don't think there are bubble, but it is a
: possibility.
:
: Does anyone have any ideas, I really don't
: want this car to become a parts car, it has
: so much potential
:
: Thanks
: Vincent
