Actually there is a very inexpensive sollution to your problem, and indeed quite some have this problem. Go to your local car supplies shop and get this additive for your oil, especially made for noisy 'tappers', this is a thick oil that re-seals the system, so that there will be oil in them the next time you start it up... ;-)
