FreeClinicLink™ Program Wins Two Prestigious Awards
The FreeClinicLink program is Aidmatrix's web-based tool that connects medical donors with members of the National Association of Free Clinics (NAFC). The tool enables free clinics nationwide to receive donations of medical products and to purchase medical products at discounted rates. This supply chain has made great progress in the area of medical relief and facilitated over $50 million dollars of donated products. The cost savings alone totals more than $1 million dollars from collaborative buying and real-time data integration with suppliers. The program was recently awarded two prestigious awards:
The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals' (CSCMP) "2007 Supply Chain Innovation" Award - This award is a national award for medical relief work done across the country at the NAFC. It is awarded by CSCMP's Research Strategies Committee (RSC) and Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies (GLSCS) magazine who established the Supply Chain Innovation Award "to recognize the best and most innovative teams in supply chain today." Aidmatrix was the only nonprofit among the finalists, which included Bakers Footwear, John Deere and SmartOps, Kraft, Liquor Control Board of Ontario, Motorola and OceanSchedules.com.
The Center for Nonprofit Management's "2007 Innovation in Action" Award - This award was designed to honor "an organization that has implemented innovative approaches, such as the use of technology, advanced business processes or program development to achieve measurable gains in organizational performance and efficiency." It was awarded during the "A Night of Light" event in Dallas, TX, in front of a prestigious local audience of more than 700 guests.

Better Business Bureas's (BBB) Wise Giving Guide Highlights Aidmatrix for Achievements
This quarter's issue of BBB Wise Giving Guide highlights Aidmatrix as having "met all standards" - a distinction that few charities achieve. This is due to the advanced operational processes which allow Aidmatrix to be agile and responsive while working under the highly unpredictable circumstances of disaster relief. Keith Thode, COO of Aidmatrix, is also quoted within the piece. Aidmatrix achieved certification from the BBB Wise Giving Alliance program earlier this year.
