According to his death certificate, Augustus A. Goddard died 5/30/1954 in Fayette County, W VA. His usual residence was in Danese. His date of birth is given as 6/7/1884; place of birth W VA; father's name John Goddard and mother's name Ann Adkins; he was married and the informant was Mrs. Nancy Ann Goddard. He was buried in a cemetery named "End of the Trail" of all things! Since your Cleora appears in the 1900 and 1910 censuses with Augustus and not Gustavius as you called him, I would say he is the right fellow.
