Hi there...I know this is two years old now, but I am also doing some ancestry research... I just found an old photograph of my grandmother and it was taken at Strem Studio in Boston... Perhaps your grandfather is the one that photographed my grandmother? It has printed on the back that they had the negative on file--I knew it wasn't likely, but I was trying to find out if they were still in business.
