Searching for lost Meehan, Boswell photos Nebraska and Canada

A family album was lost by American Airlines in 1974. It contained 1800's and early 1900's photos of Meehan, vonOhlen, Speese, Brown, Boswell and Handsor in Nebraska (several pictures in or around the North Loup River), Canada (Ontario) and Illinois. Someone in Ohio may have found it as it traveled between Chicago and Los Angeles. The album is brown and approximately 12" X 14", although the photographs may have become separated. Any leads or sightings would be helpful.
We're hopeful of a find even after 30 years!!
