I came across the Mary Anne Norton photo on this site. My husbands family came from the New England area to Oregon in the 1840's with a Methodist Missionary group. We have letter written by Chloe Clarke to Miss Mary A. Norton of Litchfield, Conn. telling her of the missionary work she is doing. I believe this might be the same Mary Anne Norton in your photo. Do you have any other Norton family information?
