Holmes; Joshua, 1817; Ruth Shaw, 1819; Ethan Allen, 1822, m. Susan Ford of Bucksport; Mary Shaw, 1824, m. Robert H. Aldrich of Uxbridge; Ruth, 1826, m. Frederick Gleason of Boston; Miles, 1831; Winslow Brewster, 1834, m. Sylvia M., d. of Joseph Maybury of Plymouth. JOSHUA, son of above, m. Lydia Oldham, 1838, and had Miles, m. Ellen, d. of Charles Westgate; Lydia Ann; and James C., m. Lizzie C., wid. of Nathan Haskins, and d. of Robert Torrence, and 2d, Mercy A. Clark. so...you can see james married first a Lizzie C., widow of Nathan Haskins, and daughter of Robert Torrence, and then his second wife was Mercy A. Clark. I am looking for him and mercy A. (may be anne, ann or annie) clark. cannot find burial records, marriage, in fact i cannot find anything on either of them other than this. any help appreciated...would love to hear from you, thanks!

I am searching for Mercy A. Clark and James Standish, a Civil War soldier who left Plymouth MA in the "Standish Guard", joined Co. E, Plymouth.
