Sorry, you asked in chances returning your home. Unfortunelately this is higly unlikely, he might by chance stumble over your house, but almost impossible. Keep in mind he has probably not seen you house from this angles, and they get very disoriented in new enviroments. The best chance is to actively search and hopefully hear or spot him. They survive for very long outside even if there is minus degrees.
: I've retrieved mine once, AND never
: more;) He will be around there,
: somewhere an can survive for very
: long, exept when encountering
: predator or larger straight beaked
: birds. He might be smart enough
: hiding for those, therefore he might
: sit on one place for a long period
: before moving a litle bit now and
: then. You should listen and call for
: him, but you must try to spot him
: rather rely on hearing him. Have
: treats if you find him and take your
: time making him safe. Don't rush
: him, because the chanse og flying
: again then is high. Mount a ladder
: away from etc etc.
:
: But the hope is there, and he is for
: sure not so far away. You could also
: try to put out his cage with food.

: I bought a blue fronted amazon six
: weeks ago and he is 8 months old. He
: managed to escape on Wednesday night
: at around 5.30pm. We have 3 acres
: and are surrounded by trees, so I
: got up at 6am the following morning
: hoping he would be in one of the
: trees. Unfortunately he didn't
: respond to any of my calls and he
: has not turned up. Does anyone know
: what the chances of him returning
: are? He is a good talker and he had
: bonded with the whole family, he
: also loved his food.
