Hi Laura,
I have two amazons (a yellow nape and a red lored). What I do is I make some pasta, I add frozen vegetables and black beans and black eyed peas and cook it all (according to the directions, except the frozen veggies, those I just add to the pasta after it's cooked and drained) and then put it in ice cube trays and freeze it. It's easy to do in one batch and it lasts a week or two. They love it. I give them a frozen cube in the morning and it's a good portion. It's very easy to do. I also bought a recipe book. Amazons can get a Vitamin A deficiency too, so I make these sweet potato muffins. They are so easy to make and they last for a week. (If you want the recipe just let me know)
