There is really nothing more to say that it might be fatal for the bird or might work out very well. If you get a puppy the chanses for good result is very high with the right approach, teaching the dog not do harm to the bird. The bird also learns his possibility to fly away from dangerous situation. Keep in mind you might end up with two animals, and one must be "caged" at all time.
