I thought the sailing class was great. The instructors paid individual attention to people of they needed help. I think that Dave's idea of having an afternoon to teach rigging, etc. is excellent. That is one thing that could have been done more. I think that especially a checklist of what to do on the boat would be important. By this I mean checking the centerboard and rudder to see if they are locked in place. I know, because I forgot to do that after taking the class. I think that almost as important as the class itself was the willingness of the members to help and give suggestions during the summer. It's a great group.
