I see there were no new responses to your message. I've been away from the club for several years but know that they do have racing on the fourth of July weekend. I hope that one of their members responds to you as I remember having trouble getting crew for the firecracker race. The fireworks are spectacular from across the lake on that evening. You might also try the Seward Yacht Club. They race larger boats. Big Lake is 60 miles north of Anchorage and Seward is 120 miles south. Hope you can get to crew on something. The ASC skipjack class had a presence in Michigan as I recall. Bring your raingear.
