I do not know the answers to your questions. We only used the boats about 3 times. My wife was not enthused about sailing. I sold the boat in the Fall of 2003 to a dentist who said he will have it on Finger Lake, in the Matanuska Valley. I often wondered about the history of the skipjack we had, but never was able to get any information. I may have kept the boat if we could have left in moored with the mast up. It takes more than 1 person to set the mast. I have a few good memories of the short time we did use it although.
