Hello. I live in Anchorage and some friends and I were ice skating on Portage Lake yesterday (-10 degrees, mostly calm) and it looked like a great place to go ice boating. Someone mentioned he had heard someone in Big Lake or Wasilla rented ice boats, but he didn't know the details. Does anyone know anything about ice boating or ice boat rentals in the area? I would like to try it out and maybe buy or build one after I get some experience. Anyone? Thanks.
