Posted by KevinS on 10/18/2005, 6:50 am I did some face painting at an event this last weekend painting face for halloween. The air pressure was to high causing blow-outs and the people were twitching everytime the air hit. Thanks for your feedback. KS "Oppurtunity without the capacity to capture is an illusion"
I have a Paasche oil-less air compressor, it doesnt have a storage tank. I have a regulator, air guage and a miosture trap leading into my brass fittings for 6 brushes. The problem I am having is the air pressure is to high. Without a brush going I have to maintain 20-22psi. When I start using a brush it drops to about 12-15 which is still to high to use on someones face. If I drop it less than the 20-22 psi when I turn on the brush the pressure will bottom out to 0 or so far that there isnt enough pressure to pull the ink out...????
What is going on here? Is there something I am missing? Does anyone have this problem with a pancake compressor? Could leaking fitting cause this problem?
