Posted by Steph McGathy As a side note... I'm not saying that the spectrum (color chage system)is not professional.. like I said I have several customers that use them and if that's what they started with, they seem to do well...but with a multi gun system you can do, at minimum, triple the tats than with the multichanger system and you use much less paint. I just went to the site... new name..new system "the Power Palette"... is a knock off of the Silentair Spectrum 2000. If you are considering this piece of equipment I would highly recommend that you go with the original that gives you 8 colors and 1 cleaner. It's a proven system and it's less expensive! You also need a backsealed airbrush to run this..you can purchase the whole system and airbrush for $419 as opposed to $495 from Tatstore for just their system...I don't see that an airbrush is included and don't know if it is backsealed.

I have some customers that have them...they like them mainly because they spent the money on it and don't want to spend more money on the multi airbrush system. I just had a conversation with a customer where she realized that if she wanted to make this a business, she would have to switch to the more speedy way which is one airbrush per color. So if you want to do tats as a business and want to save on inks, go with what most pros use...the multi gun per color way.
