
Posted by Pat on 7/20/2005, 10:33 pm, in reply to "Re: face paint on kids - products" In this case the product was almost certainly an AIBRUSHED alcohol based tattoo ink (as oppose to tattoo ink - ie permanent tattoos)designed to last upto a week with appropriate aftercare. (I get the occasional customer dying to tell me that theirs lasted in access of 2 weeks at regular events.) Prices do vary tremendously from brand to brand but a 1oz bottle of black ink will do 100s of predominantly black small airbrushed tattoos - the colours will last even longer. If you charging say £/$5.00/tattoo, do the maths, you'll see the price is not prohibitive at all. - Fabulous return on investment in my opinion. There you go - that's what you get when you assume. From your introduction I thought you were referring to a toxic, waterproof FACEPAINT rather than an airbrushed tattoo on a child's ARM.
