face paint on kids - products

currently i use krylon aquacolor for face painting ~ and i am very happy with it. i have noticed though many more designs that seem to be waterproof. am curious about products used. i am familiar with skin illustrator and other tattoo inks . . .but thought this would be too costly and more importantly toxic for kids. thanx for your responses in advance!
