Tom, It's a great idea, I've done a few myself. I just used Acrylic and did a coat of polyurathane...model paint will probably work without the sealer...but I would dedicate a specific brush to use it with since you have to use paint thinner to clean it... not good for the skin..lol Keep us updated on the success!
