Posted by Steph McGathy I have several customers who purchase both and offer both. You must however have separate airbrushes since the products do not mix and should not be. (Unless you want a gooey mess...lol) Another consideration if you decide to go with both products, many take a different psi to spray. For example, Trendy Tribals water based make-up is best applied using 12-15 psi and Reel Creations inks are best applied at 8-10. Some people use different compressors but you can use two manifolds as well with a regulator on the second one to lower the psi. Iwatta also makes an airbrush that you can adjust the psi on the airbrush itself. http://www.iwata-airbrush.com/products/airbrush/hiline/index.jsp

The skin on the face is more sensitive than on the body in general. Water-based makeup should be used on the face and can be used on the body as well. Most prefer to use an alcohol based ink on the body however to simulate tattoos. This product will last longer on the skin than a water based product.
