Wife and I have good relationship. Problem: step daughter (15yr) with psychological problems for 10 years.
Many councilors over the year with many medications and now they say boarder line personality disorder.
Step-daughter finally told to leave and live with father because she got to the point she would call protective services on me then deny she called. Problem: I have health care license which could put me in jeopardy. She has had many opportunities i.e., pets, horses. tv, i-pods,oun computer,piano, guitar, tutoring for school,you name it she's had it. So she was sent to dad's where she immediately continued her way of life, that is breaking things in the house, started breaking into houses(1 time), smoking dope, drinking, cigarettes. superficial cutting of arms. Called police on step-mon stating she tried to run her over with SUV. She did the same at our house and also managed to get congenital herpes. She tells the councilor its ok to smoke and have a beer I do it with my dad. So are you ready for the big clincher of the story? My wife decides to move the child down south near parents and quits her job forces us into bankruptcy and wants to try save step-daughter again! I cant live with them due to great possibility of the accusing me of who knows what. Wife wants to stay together, says she love me and wants me to wait for 3 years till step-daughter is out of school. Psychologist agrees because children with border line personalities especially teens become very vindictive and they have no remorse. They are capable of doing anything. So I leased a apartment for them and pay every month. So how would you handle this situation if you were in it?
