Hey Chris,
How are you?
About the website,
Perhaps people would be interested to read about a typical ACE workday. Describing hourly what’s going on and powering the words with a picture. Sort of a volunteer’s diary. Of course it would be just one day out of the life of an ACE volunteer but it could help create that mental picture of what to expect when out in the field.
Also, pictures of the housing situation in Flagstaff and Santa Cruz could give people a better idea of where they would be spending some of their days off.
Next step would be a well-documented "educate yourself" link on the website. Where all possible information about National Parks, States, local laws, History, conservation work, trail work, tools, techniques, safety, hiking, gear, trips, house rules and more is combined in a fun to explore package.
This could help future, current and former volunteers to learn more about ACE, Conservation work and America in general.
See you in a couple of days?
Take care
Bjorn
