I agreem completely with Rune. People in ACE are understanding and would never make fun of you or otherwise ridicule you for your phobia. But if you genuinely have a phobia of spiders, rather than just a healthy aversion, you might be very uncomfortable with ACE. All of the areas we work will have plenty of spiders but we've never had a serious spider bite. We do talk about spiders in our daily safety briefing because they can be dangerous if proper precautions aren't taken. I don't want to discourage you at all, but I also want to be realistic. I would hate for you to be miserable and traumatized for three months.
