If it wasnt because i knew josh hadnt died i would have started to think tha heaven was situated in North Carolina..
I also would love to say thank you Josh, i cant really imagine an ACe without you but i guess i will see what its like this summer when i return ... i might even come out to visit you...
For Ace spirit i think a bit will be forever lost with Josh leaving... I dont think i've never met anyone that nice commanding your amount of respect... In my time in ace we only worked a few projects but even though they were way back in 2004-2005 they are among the ones standing out most clearly!!! I remember Josh teaching me how to work the Punjar and digging fence posts.... i remember how he trusted me to drive the van when it was neccessary .. but mostly i remember how everybody worked their A** off not because they had to but because they wanted to... because they were inspired by a supervisor who as far as i know has never raised his voice in anger to any volunteer...
Thank you Josh for all the good times, for trusting me and for giving me a great opportunity... Farewell in North Carolina... and let me know when you start recruiting internationals
