Yes, I think there are some really cool things going on in ACE right now.
And I agree with Rune completely. Phoenix is a miserable place to find a hotel. I would walk to Flagstaff before I would stay in one of the cheap ($40 - $50 per night) hotels in Phoenix. If you want to invest $60 - $80 you could stay in a half decent hotel. I agree, just catch the Greyhound and make it to Flag if you can. Everything is nicer in Flagstaff.
