1. what would be the best time of year to volunteer and are all time frames still available, or are some closed? I don't really want to take a semester off, but the summer is so hot in Arizona and I would enjoy working in cooler weather.
2. Out of curiosity, what is the toilet situation while out on projects where there are no outhouses. I know that you have to pack out everything you pack in, soo...
3. What area has better projects as far as beautiful locations go, Santa Cruz or Flagstaff? I am actually from California and I love the landscape here, but I also spent my childhood hiking and camping in the Utah, Arizona, Colorado etc and love the landscape there as well. Do many people split up there time between the two areas?
