Id say too much is when your idea of fun is not shared by the rest of the group or the projectpartner...
Any prank that put people at risk is too much¨
any prank intended to offend, humiliate or provoke people on a personal level is too much
Any joke, prank or story which has the intention of bringing people closer together, amuse people and generally lift the spirits of he group is a welcome adition to a project...
So basically just act in a safe, friendly and respectful way and make good use of common sense and you'll be fine....

p.s. i once had a guy in my crew who thought it was funny to roll big rocks down hill in order to hit people... he spend the better part of that day sitting by the van alone
