Hi Alexander,
Thanks for posting your question about MTU Explore. Probably the single biggest success ACE can enjoy is to inspire volunteers to start conservation or volunteer-based programs in their own countries. ACE has been really fortunate in that two of our former volunteers who also became staff members on J-1 visas have formed programs to help recruit volunteers not just for ACE but for conservation programs around the world. MTU Travel was recently accredited with non-profit status by Katrin Pantsosnik, who spent 6 months as a volunteer with ACE and 18 months on a J-1 visa as a staff member. She knows ACE inside and out, probably better than I even do, and is the ideal person to recruit for us. Live and Learn Travels has been in business longer and is helping MTU Travel get off the ground by sending Swedes through them. I realize Swedes may wonder why they are dealing with an Estonian company, but it's just an example of a multi-national cooperation among former ACE volunteers. In short, you have nothing to worry about, except perhaps that Katrin will send you YouTube clips of her dancing salsa with her invoice! I hope to see you in Flagstaff. _chris
