I would prefer to work the full 12 weeks both because a longer stint would allow me to help and achieve more and - admittedly - because it would make more sense for me financially. I'm currently taking a course in human ecology while looking for work opportunities to give me further experience with nature and wildlife. Now to the essence of my post: 12 weeks would mean that I would have to leave at the end of this month in order to be back in Sweden for the holidays. If I leave any later and still spend 12 weeks that would mean that I will spend the winter holidays abroad. I don't mind all that much, but do volunteers do this occasionally? How does it work out?
