Some of you might know this, but I am the Animal Control Officer for the Town that I live in. Well, I got a call today from a guy who informed me that a wild animal jumped the six foot fence he keeps his hog in, and tore it apart. The man knows he jumped it because the fence is in perfect condition. So I went to his house, and found this.
The print is the size of my hand, not including the fingers. And there's not just one, but a trail of these more than a quarter mile long that leads to the woods where they can no longer be followed. The man contacted the DEC, and they told him that "It was a figment of his imagination." LOL I guess it's in the water, because I am certainly seeing the prints.
