Don't forget the Southern New York Racing Association Oldtimers Picnic Reunion on August 18th, 2002 at Vespucci Lodge on Lake Kenosia in Danbury. It's looking very promising, with many of the drivers from the Danbury Areana appearing, some with their cars and there will also be some midgets on hand to view. From 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring your camera and take pictures these former drivers, like Don LaJoie (Randy's father) and hopefully Jerry's father, since this is where he raced, Jimmy Smith, Bones Stevens, Any Montanari, Bob Ellis, Rit Patchen etc. etc. the list goes on. Pray for good weather. All proceed go to Kyle Petty's Victory Junction Gang Camp for the terminally ill children, which he will be building next year. Come have fun - bring the family - free admission
