Define the "One". The "Grain" of reality is like the grain of a tree. It does not go in a straight line. Existence is organic. As such it is a nonlinear function. By Organic I mean alive. Grain being an area of confluence as opposed to a line of demarcation. There are no lines of demarcation in nature. One thing flows into another. No thing is separate from any other thing. Everything is interconnected. In relationship. A straight-line is an oxymoron. A hetero-conversation. Besides, we don't want to exclude Steve just because he is Jewish. Do we? There are no cliques at Tao Speaks. And if there were I wouldn't join if they would have me. No one is cutting off part of my personality without a fight. I think I get 'natural preference for the calm.' I observe that my nature is to veer toward that. But how can I declare--objectively and in good faith--that 'calm' serves me best?  Post a Response

It's called 'evaporation.' (I have no idea what we're discussing anymore, but if it concerns water, it's probably appropriate for a dao-focused board.)  Post a Response
