Manís Ideal existence is such, "that that which is above is to be equal to that which is below and that which is below is to be equal to that that is above.Ē
It is impossible to have desire and not to have desire.
There are no two translations of Tao Te Ching that are the same.
Ancient writings have to be interpreted not translated, some of which are horrible.
Some say in one sentence to not have desire in one and then to have desire in the next.
One translation substitutes Passion for desire twice.
I see where you have to have both desire and passion to function as a Humane Being.
The Flesh Body being born of the dust of the ground, the Evolutionary Process, is in my mind, Man being fundamentally speaking being made of shit, desire being necessary in order to become the Ultimate Survivor.
Compassion, which is born of that which is above, the female mind, the spirit, the heart.
The Spiritual Body, woman, being a Creation, born the air, is that which is above, Mortal Man.
Mortal Man, is nothing more than animal; animals that must fight the battle for the survival of the most fit have no room in there heart for compassion.
It is the nature of that which is above, the mind, the heart, the soul that has the ability
to temper that which is below, the Flesh Body born of the dust of the ground.
Mankind owes its existence to that which is above, the Mind, the Feminine
No doubt duality is a fact in Taoism.
Man is said to be a duality.
A Duality being a singularity having a dual quality, not a simple pair of opposites such as left and right.
Guilefulness is born of the Duality of Good and Evil.
The duality of Good and Evil lays in the fact that Absolute Bad Knowledge has a second quality,
being mistaken to be Absolutely Good Knowledge, deception, duplicity, Guilefulness.
It is the cooperation between these two that allow Man to enter the gateway of Manifold Secrets of the Universe, that which is above and that which is above.
I can show, because math is the language of the Universe, how this works.
In the duality of a singularity, a fraction, there is and above and a below.
A fraction can be reduced to the whole of a singularity if that which is above, the numerator, and that which is below, the denominator are equal, the same.
A Fraction is a rational number as long as the denominator is greater than the numerator.
If the numerator, that which is above is greater, not the same as, than that which is below the fraction become Irrational.
These two although from the same source are give two different names as they issue forth.
I choose to use desire to represent that which is below and passion for that which is above.
I do not believe the desires of the flesh body are a problem, but only if they are not allow to be perverted by the spiritual body, the mind, that which is above.
Have you ever heard of the battle between the spirit and the flesh, man and woman?.
Woman is used as a metaphor, which is a distortion of subject matter that is being spoken, with the word Women; woman being distorted by the true nature of the subject matter that woman is used as a metaphor to describe.
The reason for the way the Muslim Male, Man in general, a treats a woman as if she were property, his property, is because the male does not place any equal value on women, because of the male superiority, machismo.
Did you know that, woman, that which is above, the mind, the female spirit, femininity can turn a man into a Pig? a Male chauvinistic Pig.
In the Muslim World if a woman show to much flesh, hence the reason must cover their heads and face, and she is raped it is the woman fault, the male will not be charged with the rape, or if
he is charged, he will not be punished.
In fact as an honor killing, the rape victim may be killed because of the disgrace brought upon the husband or the family.
In the Muslim World, freedom of Mind, the female Spirit is Evil.
: Dear Wayne,
: I see one line of the Dao de Jing here.
: "Mystery upon mystery".
: The rest reads very much like Gnostic
: 'Gospel of Thomas'.
: The Gnostics felt that THE HUMAN BODY *is
: the problem*.
: I've spent some time, earlier in my life,
: studying Tantric Yoga.
: The Gnostics were WRONG.
: The human body is *not the problem*.
: How one use's the human body is the problem.
: Desire is "a gateway". Then it
: depends just HOW this desire is used.
: It can take us "up" to heaven
: (tien in Chinese, I believe), or down to the
: lower realms which the Gnostics wrongly
: thought of as "Hell".
: If one can master 'the gateway' it can lead
: us UPWARD to many levels of paradise (a
: Persian word, if I remember correctly).
: It all depends on HOW one handles DESIRE.
: Clearly, we all came here embodied in human
: Gift, that it is. If misused, it can
: certainly lead us into negative
: But if used correctly, it can lead us into
: many levels of paradise.
: The choice of course, is entirely OURS.
: The Gnostic's needed to learn Tantra.
: It would've cured their obsession of
: thinking that the human body is EVIL.
