You can be attached to the idea that Jesus Christ died for you and that accepting him as this or that will save you from this or that. Likewise, you can be attached to the idea that where you are is intrinsically wrong or bad or misguided and that this or that practice (meditation included) will save you from this or that.
Let go of the notion that you are disordered and need rescue, I say. Embrace the reality that sometimes you will feel secure and sometimes you will not. Sometimes you will feel "in sync" and sometimes you will not. Sometimes you will see clearly and sometimes you will not.
And that it's all good -- however you feel at the moment. Whatever your perceptions are at the moment.
(And I think you're beautiful too, Des. :)
