I agree, Bao Pu. We can certainly take steps to eliminate or lessen distractions and impediments. But fatalist that I am (but only in a good sense...lol), the desire to remove distractions and impediments is in itself a kind of grace that I cannot "make" happen. The desire either comes or it does not.
I like to think that the ultimate lesson of being "truly" introspective is that it's okay when I'm being introspective and okay when I'm not.
No winners or losers. I am fundamentally safe either way.
