I am one of the most Moral Amoral people that I know of.
Over Time the interpretation as to word meaning changes.
Until early in the 1900's Morality was considered to be Absolute, Black and White, Absolute Right or Wrong.
However many not being satisfied by the Fact the Moral Law is a dismal failure in its promise to being order to chaos, plus its limitation on Freedom of Mind, have turn to other terms using synonyms and redefining the word Morality.
Morality—founded on the fundamental principles of right conduct rather than on legalities, enactment, or custom.
Syn. 5. upright, honest, straightforward, open, virtuous, honorable. 11. integrity, standards, morality. MORALS, ETHICS refer to rules and standards of conduct and practice. MORALS refers to generally accepted customs of conduct and right living in a society, and to the individual's practice in relation to these: the morals of our civilization. ETHICS now implies high standards of honest and honorable dealing, and of methods used, esp. in the professions or in business: ethics of the medical profession.
Many today when they speak of Morality they are not making reference to Absolute Right or Wrong.
Would that I could, I would destroy the Law, Moral Law, the Law of Hypocricy.
