It came to me tonight that it must have been so much easier to 'let go' years ago when technology wasn't around to record everything, keep everything. When you just watched a wondrous sunset and let it go when it was over. When a child grew up without every single advancement recorded for posterity. When the whole world wasn't recorded that we knew of tragedies everywhere, old ones replayed and new ones likewise recorded. A recital or performance one of a kind, no re-plays. It must have been easier...
