In my opine you are guilty of dualistic thinking here. You are dividing what is by nature whole.
I, you too, are not separate from Nature. Nothing is. We are a part of everything, and everything is a part of us.
To say that Nature does not care is to ascribe one pole of a dualistic notion where the character of Nature is concerned at the expense of the other pole.
Good and bad, caring not caring, are the products of duality. Of divided thinking. They are not realities. They are modalities.
To make a broad generalization about the existential nature of Nature is to step into the deep end of the pool headfirst. Is that really what you want to do?
I say this because some people make entire philosophies out of such one dimensional thinking as you express here. Nature does not care. Nothing matters. Do whatever you want. Be whatever you want. Damn other people. Damn the whole, it is all about me. And so on.
