ButchO, don't know if I've told this here before, but it started my sense that there is so much more going one than we realize. Quite a few years ago I read of a serious research study involving plants hooked up to something like lie-detector apparatus, sensor picking up changes in the plants to different stimuli. And there were lots, to music, etc. But the most amazing was when on smart guy on the research team went into the room and burned a little on one plant's leaf. The sensors on every plant in the room went wild. That alone is pretty cool, but the real kick is that every time that guy went into the room, every plant reacted with (presumably) alarm. No one else got that response.
Some people talk to their plants. Not so goofy after all!
Cows give more milk and chickens lay more eggs when the right kind of music is played; optimum production to Mozart and Bach.
What a wonderful world!
