: Greetings Cousin Butcho,
:
: Your post made me think about DDJ #18. It
: also points to your Taoist nature in that
: your view of superficial morality is shared
: here.
:
: "maybe the Earth will move through some
: sort of energy field that will increase the
: awareness level of all of us at once. This
: moving in small increments toward a hoped
: for critical mass doesn't seem to hold much
: promise."
:
: It seems to me, that energy field just
: might be the opposite of peace. And peace
: will phase in after the next holocaust.
:
: A side note: At the PGA tournament last week
: gar observed quiet crowds that seemed to
: generate peacefulness. Words can calm or
: excite, but softness might be the mother of
: peace.
:
: in peace,

gar,
Even water can freeze. A time and a season for everything. Moderation in all things including moderation. To go with the flow of existence is to sometimes be at rest. The center of the wheel does not move while all about it is spinning. A time and a season... but each time and each season comes in its own time and season. Winter follows Fall, not Spring. There is a grain to existence. All is not chaos. There is a way that is the Way of existence. Do not look for the sun to rise in the West. Everything may be permitted, but not everything is profitable.
To pray is to talk. To meditate is to listen.
We have the potential to be greater than the sum of our parts.
